Still Life: Jars
This series creates abstract painterly images from a simple object: a glass jar. The work was inspired by the beautiful pictures of fruit by Edward Weston. In the first image, my favorite, a video is obsured beyond recognition with long-exposue.
In the following two photos, the images in the jars are more recognizable, including the most famous detail of the famous Sistine Chapel.
Thanksgiving
This series examines at a married couple over their Thanksgiving holdiday. Inspired by the work of Larry Sultan and Nan Goldin, the pictures find the strangeness in the everyday.
In the Woods
Three photos from the woods near my house. Walking alone, the forest is always a site of mystery and beauty.
