The National Film Festival for Talented Youth (NFFTY) screened BLACKROOT in Seattle on Friday. This was my ninth year at NFFTY. I think of it as my home festival.

"Strange Sister" Stage Première
Brand New Theatre (BNT) produced my one-act play "Strange Sister” this semester. The play is based on the real life of blues singer Gladys Bentley. BNT is the oldest student theater company at USC. BIG SILVER NIGHTS at Short.Sweet.Film Fest
Excited to have BIG SILVER NIGHTS screen at the Short. Sweet. Film Fest next Saturday in Cleveland! The film follows a pair of unlikely friends (played by Andrew Tribolini & David Albert Ibarra) on one reckless night. This will be my third film at Short. Sweet. Two years ago, the festival named THE PAINTED GIRL its “Short. Sweet. Film”, the festival’s top award. Three years ago, ALONE TOGETHER earned an Honorable Mention.
